For the home games they moved between the BAC and RAG fields. In 1934 the Admira moved into its new sports field in Hopfengasse and the FAC took over its former place in Deublergasse. From the 1948/49 season, almost all home games were played on this pitch, sometimes in front of 10,000 spectators. At the beginning of the 60’s the management forgot to pay the rent and the club again was left without a home playground. On 19 May 1963 the FAC played its last game there.
Finally sedentary
Since the 1966/67 season, the FAC pitch in Hopfengasse has been home to the Blue and White kickers. Once again, the FAC inherited from the Admira. The facility was extended in the coming years with tennis courts, a sauna house and a plunge pool. In November 1987 the area was renamed “Leopold-Stroh-Anlage”. In 1993, with the financial support of the municipality of Vienna, the Vienna Football Association and the former president of the club, Friedrich Gross, the construction of a grandstand began. This was completed in 1994. In the following years some infrastructural extensions followed. Among other things, a VIP club, a new floodlight and much more were added. Since the 2015/16 season there have been two completely new tubular steel stands at FAC-Platz.
